HISTORY

Jyväskylän elävän musiikin yhdistys Jelmu ry was founded in the year 1989 and has been organizing live concerts since the year 1990 in Tanssisali Lutakko. The venue was previously Schaumaninkatu’s (now Lutakonaukio) bakery. Ever since its founding, Jelmu has been a non-profit organization and its operations have been based on volunteer work.
