The Off Road Festival is taking a break this year, but the spirit of the festival will be kept alive with two Off Road Clubs. On September 20, there will be a post-punk focused evening with performances by Modem, Dragsvik, and Nykypost.
The following day, September 21, will feature a black metal night with …And Oceans and Where’s My Bible. Tickets for the Off Road Clubs are affordable, starting at €12 per night, and Jelmu members can attend for free.
The bands performing at the Off Road Club include Modem, a duo known for their haunting Finnish synapop sound, Dragsvik, a Helsinki-based band combining haunting pop melodies and anarcho-punk, and Nykypost, a band that blends fiery spoken word with punk and psychedelic influences.
